Michael is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants who applies his professional skills in a commercial environment as part of the EMC team.
As a Director of EMC's Corporate Finance team he is a lead advisor to companies and shareholders on acquisitions and disposals, with an emphasis on internet related companies. Michael's career has included a spell as part of Laid plc's acquisition and integration team (a FTSE 250 plc), Finance and Acquisitions Director for RDF Group plc (an AIM quoted plc), as well as advising privately owned companies on a variety of transactions, nationally and internationally.
He also acts as an interim and non-executive director in a variety of business sectors.
Michael joined EMC in 1996 and is a main board director.

Living in the vibrant city of Brighton & Hove, on the South Coast of England, Michael is an avid supporter of both Sussex County Cricket Club and Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club. He enjoys any form of motor sport, especially Formula 1 as well as the slower pace of Golf. When he is not working, Michael loves to travel.
